Welcome to Harmony In Bloom, Mama!

Let me introduce the name "Harmony in Bloom" encapsulates the beautiful journey of entrepreneurial mothers who find harmony while continually growing in all aspects of their lives. This name embodies:

  • Harmony: The integration of business, motherhood, and self, love, abundance, body relationships in harmony.

  • Bloom: The continuous growth, flourishing, and unfolding of potential that occurs when women honour all dimensions of themselves

This evocative name represents our sanctuary as a nurturing garden where entrepreneurial mothers can root themselves in harmony while blossoming into their fullest expression.

As more of us step into our power, whether you are starting your business or projects, raising families, it is time for an honest conversation about what this truly look like.

Growing up, I never knew a relaxed woman.

Successful women? Yes.

Productive women? Plenty.

Anxious and afraid and apologetic women? Heaps of them.

But relaxed women? At-ease women?

Women who don't dissect their days into half hour slots of productivity? (I did this before!)

Women who prioritise rest and pleasure and play?

Women who aren't afraid to take up space in the world?

Women who give themselves unconditional permission to relax?

Without guilt?

Without apology?

Without feeling like they need to earn it?

I'm not sure I've ever met a woman like that.

But I would like to become one.

May we become the relaxed woman together.

The Rise of The Female Breadwinner

For many high - achieving entrepreneurial mamas, we are no longer just juggling business meetings and kids schedules, but we are now also stepping into the role of primary earner in our household, which comes with a whole new layer of responsibility + pressure.

Women have come a long way to here … but just because we have now reached a new level of opportunity and access doesn’t mean we are exempt from the feeling of guilt, overwhelm and resentment that cam come with the territory. We need to get real about what we need in order to thrive long-term while “doing it all”.

Nervous System Reset

I like to add little practice in this newsletter. This nervous system to be done with your partner, your children or any family members or friends too. My Lover and I practice this a lot in our zoom call. Yes, it works too!

  1. Sit facing each other, close enough that your knees are almost touching.

  2. Take three deep breaths together, synchronising your inhales and exhales.

  3. Place your right hand over your partner's heart, and your left hand over your own.

  4. Sit like this for 2-3 minutes, focusing on the connection and your breath.

  5. Say something you love and appreciate about the other person.

  6. Receive what your partner says they love and appreciate about you.

  7. End with a long hug, heart to heart and feeling grateful for one another.

This exercise helps activate your vagus nerve and promotes a sense of safety and connection with your partner. It’s so beautiful and simple to incorporate.
